The International J/24 is built in the U.S., Japan, Australia and Italy and has more than 25,000 people sailing 5,300 boats in 150 fleets in 40 countries. It has been one of the most popular keelboats in the sailing history since first launched back in 1976.
The J/24 offers an amazing experience on the race course for everyone. Normally crewed by 5 persons is an strict One Design class, which allows minimum improvements to the boat, trying to keep the competition as fair as possible. That is why boat builders keep precise methods and dimensions when manufacturing each one of the J/24's that will end on any race course at one of the five continents.
Most of the actual World Class sailors have been J/24 racers for long periods before stepping forward into bigger boats and offshore competition. Names like John Kolius, John Kostecki, Ken Read, Chris Larson and many others were part of the group of skippers that leaded J/24's in very competitive races all over the world.
Being one of the strongest One Design class, the J/24 sailor needs a reliable source of hardware and equipment that fulfills all his/her sailing needs for each racing campaign, understanding that every detail is important and can be the difference on the race course.
